Recap on Fine Dining...

Hey all! Remember this post, Fine Dining ? I'm not quite sure why I have to explain myself here but here goes...

Apparently some of you (you know who you are!!!) were upset or had some issues with something that was said in that post. Let me attempt to explain something. Neeley and I were simply playing in her room. She was cutting foods out of construction paper, and she made up this fun menu and did all sorts of creative stuff. Now, just between you mommas of little ones and I, would you keep that mess after you have played with it? I'm so sorry if some of you have sour words to say about me because she threw it all away. She really didn't want me to take pictures of it for the blog, and THAT'S ALL! She has been a bit shy lately and gets embarrassed at little tiny things. It had nothing to do with me and I didn't throw it away. We simply played with it and then once the fun was over, there was no reason to keep it all.

That's all! Promise! It was no big deal. We play things like that all the time and then we sometimes trash them. If you would like for me to send the mess to your house afterwards, I will. I have better things to do in life than sit around and wonder if throwing away something will irritate you.

In the future, if you have something negative to say about what I have to say, I have two solutions for you:

* Tell me to my face instead of emailing others about it
* Don't read my blog

Thank you to you mommas who totally get this. Apparently not everyone does. Good day!

Mama's can be so mean and snotty sometimes, can't they? It's like we still feel like we have to compete with one another on who is the best mama. No one is! We all do the best we can and no child or family is perfect. Poor Ashley. I hope one negative situation doesn't turn you away from blogging about the fun things you do!

Not sure what happened but remember...you can't change what someone says or does only your reaction to it. Don't give them the satisfaction of getting under your skin!
