Won't You Pray With/For Us??

Dear Friends,

If you are of the praying kind, could you/would you please include us, the rest of our military population and all of our nations' leaders in your prayers/thoughts to get this mess figured out? We just looked and yep...you guessed it...we get half of our pay on the 15th. Since we are a 1 income family right now, we will barely make it the rest of the month. And...big gulp moment here... we may even go hungry for a bit. The commissaries are already closing here and even if they are open, the shelves are pretty much empty. We have no other services here to assist us in times such as this. Who knows what the final outcome will be and what the right answer is, but I do know that there are many, many of us who are suffering tremendously.

We spend our days looking for more income and eating cheap meals. I hope this is only temporary but it is very scary. I pretty much have no employment options here in Germany. That just isn't a choice, as Neeley would be here from 6 am to at least 6 pm by herself. And if she went anywhere else, it would cost money. Good thing we don't need formula and diapers!

These are supposed to be exciting times in our lives where we are able to enjoy our locations and spend time as a family. It's times like these, when the purse strings are already tight and times aren't as joyful as others, that we really don't need this news.

I am going to leave this post up for a while, hoping to replace it with better news soon. I just don't have the heart to blog.........
