Paris - Day 3, Part 2 {08-19-2010}

~And we're back with more of the story.....~

After lunch that day, we headed over to the Eiffel Tower. But first...a few more stops to see some really neat things.

We found the Musee d'Orsay along the way and while Ronnie & I were just plain exhausted by this time and really wanted to conserve our energy for the top of that Eiffel Tower, we did take a pass through to see the Van Gogh pieces that Neeley was so excited to see. Sorry folks, you'll have to suffice with this pic of the outside....

They did not allow any type of cameras in to the museum. Anyway, back to Neeley's excitedness. :) Her 3rd grade class had done a study on Van Gogh and now the real thing was coming to life right before her eyes. I wish you could all have seen the look on her face when she discovered the area dedicated to him. This is one educated sista! :)

We also passed the National Assembly along the way.

And saw some other really neat buildings.

And even passed by a few Embassies.

By this time, we had to make a pit stop and a drink stop, for all this sightseeing and walking around was making this lil girl feel a LOT like this:

Let me take this time to add a lil {DISCLAIMER}: You will notice that these pictures look different from post to post and you will see us carrying around a FEW cameras in some of these pics. We were trying to maximize our picture taking by each of us carrying a camera of some sort and some take better pics than others. We had to deal with low or no battery issues, where in the world were those power cords?, running out of memory, and well...you know the drill. That's what I get for always wanting 4,297 pictures from every trip.

Where were we? Oh yeah, on to the Eiffel Tower............

After the Eiffel Tower, we headed back and did a lil more sightseeing along the way to the hotel.

Charles De Gaulle

It was a beautiful night. And yes, we were ready for a restful night's sleep.
