According to her teacher, they worked a long time on these. They had to choose the background, draw their own picture, and then they were responsible for choosing the words or phrases they wanted to use using the acronym SOLDIERS.
Each student got to read their poem along to music and they were played during Parent Teacher Conferences last week. I couldn't help but shed a tear or two while reading through them all. What a treat!
We are so proud of her creation and so proud of our soldier!
